Did you know that acupuncture can treat common childhood issues, like asthma, bed-wetting, and skin conditions? It can also treat digestive issues and help regulate attention, sleep and mood. Start your year off right, and get into a healthier place, with acupuncture / children's herbal formulas (they taste good!). I've got a great selection of children's formulas for the common cold, cough, focus, digestion, and allergies in stock. Come by and take a natural approach to your child's wellbeing.

And, since kids and technology go together like peanut butter and jelly, why not put technology to use for building resilience? Here are a few apps I love for helping kids get calm as their schedules and lives are about to undergo some big changes!

Finally, an old school thing that riffs on popular culture — and a big deal around our house right now:  30-day challenges! A sheet of paper (you can just print out a calendar sheet), and a small goal. Maybe it's 10 minutes of math a day, maybe it's going to bed by 9pm each day, or something that your child has identified that THEY want to work on. Set a simple goal, show them what happens when they make a commitment to showing up for themselves, every. day.

Those 30 day challenges aren't just for kids — I'm inspired by them too! I'm working on 20 minutes a day of intentional movement. So, I'm making YouTube yoga playlists (yes, I literally search for 20 minute yoga and choose from them!), finding time to walk for 20 minutes, lift weights for 20 minutes. 20 minutes is do-able. Enough to squeeze in, enough to make a difference.

What small thing would you like to adjust, and find 10-20 minutes a day to make a priority? My recommendations? Mindfulness, qi gong, or movement! Because those things all keep you flowing, growing, and energetic! 10-20 minutes, 30 days, let inspiration be your guide! Here's a few 20 minute videos to get you inspired!
